CRISIS AT THE BORDER

HUMAN TRAFFICKING IS BIG BUSINESS

Every year, millions of individuals endure the harrowing ordeal of human trafficking, yet both mainstream media and legislators often turn a blind eye to this ancient scourge, raising profound questions about the true progress of civilization.

Human trafficking stands as the humanitarian crisis of our time. According to the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, sexual exploitation constitutes the most prevalent form of trafficking, with the majority of victims being women and girls. Safe Horizon, a leading victim assistance organization, defines human trafficking as "an illegal trade in human beings through recruitment or abduction by means of force, fraud, or coercion for the purposes of forced labor, debt bondage, or sexual exploitation."

The Biden-Harris administration and the Democratic party are complicit in enabling an unprecedented invasion into our nation. They must be held accountable and put an end to these reprehensible practices.

For criminals, cartels, and gangs, human trafficking is a lucrative enterprise, fetching thousands of dollars per person. Moreover, cartels engage in brutal warfare, leaving a trail of death and devastation. Undocumented immigrants often find themselves caught in the crossfire, facing exorbitant fees imposed by rival cartels as punishment. Unable to pay, many fall victim to sexual exploitation or indentured servitude within our borders, including children.

Do you still recognize your own country? Do you ever feel as though you inhabit a parallel United States of America?

During my conversations with numerous mothers, I asked why they chose to cross illegally into our country. Their response was matter-of-fact: they believed the United States government wanted them here—an insidious perception perpetuated by cartels. False promises of economic freedom, housing, and sustenance serve as bait, trapping unsuspecting victims in a cycle of modern-day slavery. The Biden-Harris administration's complicity in propagating these falsehoods constitutes an unfathomable betrayal.

It is imperative to put an end to this administration's reckless policies. The only way to do so is to elect candidates who oppose such chaos and are unafraid to speak out against it.
